What is Face Yoga?
Just like your body, your face is made up of many muscles that work to help you express yourself, eat, drink, and take in the outside world. Face Yoga is based off of the idea that just like your body, you want to use certain exercises to tone underused muscles and certain techniques to relax overused muscles. This will help keep your facial muscles young, toned, and working properly. Face toning uses varying methods and relies on physiology to contract and relax the muscles of the face. This stimulation not only tones face muscles but increases circulation, which also enhances skin tone and texture and helps relieve stress to aid in maintaining a youthful, radiant glow. Techniques might include: massage, stretching, exaggerated expressions, and breath work.
Face Yoga Group Session
Join Kayce Johnson, Kind Folke’s creator and co-owner of Arkansas Yoga Collective, for a new, refreshing approach to skin care. Using all-natural methods, Kayce will show you how to read your face through "face mapping" (an ancient technique that outlines how to read troubled or stressed areas on your face and understand what simple everyday habits you need to change to resolve the issue). You will leave with a thorough explanation of how to perform a relaxing face massage and toning techniques (yoga for your face!) effectively to reverse time and keep your skin looking its best. This experience can be customized to fit 1 hour-2.5 hour experience that is perfect for a fun bridal shower, bachelorette party, birthday celebration, or for a few close friends who need to treat themselves. You will learn techniques that will continue to help you age beautifully and naturally.
